Black and shiny like oil, the sleek and dexterous Karnifex Black rarely kills, as he prefers to toy with your mind, twisting your thoughts until you bring yourself to the ultimate end.

Will you just become completely crazy, or kill yourself? Will you murder your own family, or rape the woman you love?

Whatever happens, Karnifex Black will be watching, enjoying the show and preparing to take what's left for yourself.

It could be your life insurance, your now-rich and good-looking widow, your highly-expensive mansion, or even your sons. But it will all be because of your doing.

The human face of Karnifex Black is likewise insidious: a charmer and a player, his irresistible smile and intense glare seduce everyone into letting him into their lives.

Assistete all'evoluzione di Erik McDaniel da hack-tivista brillante ma umano ad hack-tivista mascherato e soprannaturale!

Anche quando è completamente rinchiuso nell'uniforme di Orka Karnifex in simil-neoprene, Erik ha il controllo, e agisce contro multinazionali, signori del crimine, organizzazioni pubbliche corrotte, mafiosi e affaristi immorali.

Ma i suoi trucchi ciber-mistici, per quanto astuti, possono davvero tenere Karnifex a bada in eterno?

Con l'Uniforme Orka che passa da bianca&nera a completamente nera, Erik comprende che Karnifex non era stato davvero soggiogato... ma solo quando ormai l'uniforme è del tutto nera, ed Erik non ha più modi di sfilarsela!

Wetsuit Karnifex

Karnifex: Orrore Italiano presenta la versione "muta da sub" (wetsuit) dell'uniforme dell'assassino mascherato.

Estendendosi come il costume vivente di Venom (l'alieno simbiotico dell'universo di Spider-Man), questa tuta riveste l'intero corpo dell'ennesima incarnazione di Karnifex, mescolando la grafica classica del tracciato scheletrico originale con le linee tecnologiche/mimetiche del design di una guaina in neoprene per subacquei.

La tuta si fonde con la maschera antigas, senza soluzione di continuità, trasformandola in un aderente cappuccio da subacqueo. Le lenti da maschera antigas diventano occhialoni da sub e il respiratore si adatta alle forme di una valvola da maschera antigas.

Il tracciato decorativo sul corpo diventa fluido, come se scorresse sul corpo di Karnifex, e un teschio prende forma sul petto, in opposizione a quello sulla schiena di Tattoo Karnifex.

Il riflesso capovolto continua con l'inversione dei colori (il nero diventa dominante) e con la struttura fisica dell'umano di turno, Mihai, che si rivela atletica, ma asciutta ed essenziale.

L'arma è un bastone da poliziotto, capace di uccidere senza versare troppo sangue, in opposizione al brutale coltello militare di Tattoo Karnifex.

Come mai questa deliberata antisimmetria tra queste due versioni del personaggio? Semplicemente perchè i due artisti autori sono fratelli gemelli!

In una scena non presente nell'effettivo fumetto, l'assassino mascherato Karnifex ha appena sepolto qualcuno nel cemento, in perfetto stile mafioso! Chi può essere la vittima? E perchè le lenti della maschera di Karnifex stanno fumando? E' fumo, vapore...o qualcos'altro?

Karnifex per "La guerra del brevetto"

Una versione futuristica di Karnifex per una storia ambientata in laboratori fantascientifici annidati in cittadelle industriali fortificate: la paranoia delle guerre economiche a colpi di scoperte scientifiche viene esasperata dalla presenza di elementi impossibili come Karnifex, capace di avere la meglio anche sull'elettronica più avanzata.

Ma si tratta pur sempre di un uomo solo in tuta e maschera: può davvero sperare di avere la meglio?
